This is Orvieto's Pieta. As you can see, it is much different from Michaelangelo's Pieta!

Unfortunately, the front of the Cathedral is being repaired and so we were not able to see all of the mosaics. What we were able to see was magnificent!

This is the entrance to a fort protecting Saint Patrick's Well. How Saint Patrick got involved in this I do not know. But the well is really an escape route that leads from the top of the hill down to the valley below.
